Day 39: A drive to Berlin, Germany (June 22):

Today, we packed up in Amsterdam and left for a six and a half hour drive to Berlin, Germany. We had Subway on the way. The meat throughout Europe is a little bit different. Once in Berlin, me and Mom went into a gas station where the apartment owner left the keys for us. Then we walked up to the apartment. It was cute. Everyone had a tv in their rooms and a desk! It was a big room. Me, Ash and Kennedi shared a room.
Then me, Dad, and Dallin went to get food at a grocery store. It was fun. We actually got soda water! So me and Dallin went alone to get normal water.
We get to our home stay (an apartment downtown), and I have to admit that I thoroughly enjoy making dinner and washing dishes. After being in a hotel and eating out for the past 11 days, it is fun to have an actual kitchen again - it's funny, the things that you dread on a daily basis, you find yourself actually missing. I don't think I will ever take a clothes dryer for granted again!

Tanner kept us entertained on the long drive.

We also found a park to run around in.
Often, we would see a car with a camper on the top and back of it.
