Day 57: Bern Temple and Meiringen!! (July 10):

Today, we woke up and me and Dad left to go get cereal for breakfast. FYI, in Switzerland it’s super expensive! Later, Mom got me, Dad and Dallin an appointment for baptisms for the dead in the Swiss temple! The font was amazing. Gold oxen and crystal blue water! Once you got in, the water I like a hot tub! I really felt the spirit in the confirmation room. Anyway, I went first. All of the ladies I was baptized for were from Hungry.

The temple is in Zollifen, right outside of Bern, and is 1 20 minutes from our house. Around the temple, there are apartment buildings for members who have to travel great distances to stay in. We meet a group of youth that have come from Rome on a bus (14 hours) for baptisms. The little kids and I play at the park and explore some forest trails while we wait for Benson, Talie and Dallin. Tanner figures out how to climb up the ladder to the slide and slide down (head first of course =) by himself.
Later we saw missionaries, who took our pictures in front of the temple. We grabbed burgers. I ate one whole one! Wow.
After relaxing at the house, we go out to find an adventure.

All the cow bells at the farm house we stayed at.
Hasliberg Goldern in the background.
We drive to Meiringen (30 minutes away) to one of the waterfalls- the one that Sherlock Holmes pushed his nemesis to his death.

You have to kiss in front of a waterfall, right?

Benson & Dallin play Frisbee on a bridge over the stream from the waterfall – whoever drops it has to go in and get it – of course it is dropped and the first adventure begins.
Before you know it, the four oldest and their papa are all forging the river.

On the way back to the car, we stop at a park. Here the parks have cool zip lines, which we want to put in our back yard.
Someone had a full day!
