Today, we got in the chunnel and left London!=( After over six hours of driving, we arrived in Amsterdam with lots of graffiti. I was ok to smoke marijuana there and there were lots of crimes! Anyway, we dropped our stuff off at the hotel. The lady that worked there look a lot like our cousin, Hailey. Anyway, we went to Anne Frank's house it was sad. They couldn't use the bathroom or people might here the water run. There were clips of her actual journal! She dreamed of publishing her journal. She never lived to see her dream, but it came true! We went in some room like her room, the office, the secret annex where they hid behind a moving bookshelf. All around were quotes from her and her family. She truly inspired me and others. Later, we grabbed food and walked around Amsterdam.
Amsterdam is the city of bikes. Everyone rides bikes! We see many women with a little baby seats in front of the handlebars and another baby seat on the back of their bikes. That's exactly what I need at home. We also see several people riding side saddle on the little platform on the back of another person's bike. The bikes are very old looking and they are pretty much all black, cruiser style bikes - and they are everywhere!
