Day 29: Finding a home in Meaux, France (June 12):

This morning, Benson and I "wake up" around 6:00am and Benson starts driving around, trying to find some food for breakfast before all of the kids wake up starving. Everything is closed, but at 8:15, Benson finds a little pastry shop. After three trips inside, we pretty much clean him out of his baguettes, doughnuts, and chocolate croissants. The day is looking better already!
Next, we drive to Paris to find an internet cafe - yay! success! Benson and Talie run in and find us a home in a hotel in Meaux, France (about 30 minutes outside of Paris). We drive there, nap, and plan the next few home stays. Then we take a trip to the grocery store and see a sign for KFC! We hunt it down to eat there for dinner, find it, but are disappointed to find out that they have never heard of mashed potatoes and gravy- just French fries. It is still good.  Then Talie, Dallin and Benson go do laundry and return home with yummy $5 pizzas and clean clothes- a very welcome sight!
