Day 34: Belgium Take Two & Hello England! (June 17):

This morning, we go back into Brugge to try to see the blood of Christ relic because we didn't get to see it yesterday. It is very crowded, but they bring it out during mass, and we get to see it!
Waiting to see the relic.

Happy Father's Day!!! Dad being attacked by his fan club.
On the way out, we stop for another round of Belgium waffles!
We say Good bye to Brugge!

Then off on a four hour drive (not counting wait time for the chunnel) to London, England! We drive back to France to get on the chunnel - which is amazing! We just drive our van into a train, pull up the parking break, they shut the doors, and in 35 minutes we are across the Channel in Folkestone, England - Benson enjoyed the break from driving.
We reached a big mile marker on the way to London.
We arrive in London, England! I wrote a big L on the left side of the windshield, it was confusing driving on the left side and their steering wheels are on the right side of the car as well (well, everybody else's except ours) We arrived at our hotel, brought our things in and we got Dominos Pizza for dinner. There was a sign outside of Dominoes that read, "dumping rubbish was unlawful" how cool is that!
We are definitely in London! I LOVED their accents here. It was nice to hear people, besides our family, speak English! Especially when they say things like lift (elevator), splendid, brilliant, rubbish, and burger on a bap (bun)!

It is so fun to see famous and familiar sights in person!
We drive around London and find Hyde Park - where the early saints would stand on platforms in speakers corner and share the gospel. Many people first heard about the church at that park. They actually still have people stand up on soapboxes on Sunday evenings and talk, but we arrived too late. Then we walked through Hyde park and see statues, swans, a park, and a fountain for Princes.

One of many potty breaks.
Our favorite type of swing common in European parks.

Diana. The park was pretty!
