Then we take of
for Marseille! I am very excited because this is where the movie, “Count of
Monte Cristo” takes place. One of my all time favorite movies!
Driving in, we find
the old port (this is the oldest city in France), and an amazing cathedral that
is free - sweet! It is huge!

Next, we drive
through old town and follow signs up to a cathedral at the very top of the
hill, and city. The views are breathtaking and we can see the prison, Chateau D
‘Iff – the super creepy prison from “Count of Monte Cristo”!

We drive until we
find pizza and a beach – a winning combo!=). My favorite, is to find a beach in
the late afternoon, when it’s not so scorching hot and crowded. It is a pebbly
beach, so not as gritty and dirty feeling as the sand.

Dallin and I start a volleyball game. It was
lots of fun! They spoke some English.
Ashlynn, Peyton and Kennedi play at the
park, and the sunset is beautiful on the ocean. A grand finale to a nice,
relaxing evening.
